Welcome to PTRM CIC

Who we are

PTRM operates a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to improving outcomes for children, young people, and families. Everything we do is built around structured review, transparent decision‑making, and practical tools that help professionals deliver better support.

Our CIC status reflects our commitment to public benefit, independence, and reinvestment into the communities we serve.

Our Purpose

We exist to bring clarity, consistency, and accountability to the EHCP landscape. Through our Review process and wider support services, we help local authorities, schools, and families understand what good practice looks like — and how to achieve it.

Our work focuses on:

  • Independent oversight that strengthens trust and transparency
  • Clear, measurable review frameworks that drive meaningful change
  • Practical guidance that supports professionals and families
  • Child‑centred decision‑making grounded in evidence

Our Community Commitment

As a CIC, PTRM reinvests surplus resources directly into public benefit.

This includes:

  • Developing new tools within the Review Process
  • Creating accessible guidance for families
  • Offering subsidised or free support to vulnerable groups
  • Funding community projects that improve SEND outcomes

Our mission is simple: better systems, better practice, better outcomes.

How We Work

PTRM collaborates with:

  • Local authorities
  • Schools and trusts
  • Health professionals
  • Parent/carer groups
  • Advocacy organisations

We provide structured review models, training, and practical support that help professionals deliver consistent, high‑quality SEND provision.

Governance & Accountability

PTRM CIC is governed by a board committed to:

  • Ethical practice
  • Transparent reporting
  • Public benefit
  • Continuous improvement

Our governance ensures independence, integrity, and a clear focus on measurable impact.

Surplus Reinvestment

Any surplus generated by PTRM CIC is reinvested into:

  • Expanding the Review Process
  • Developing new training modules
  • Supporting families who cannot access paid services
  • Strengthening community‑based SEND initiatives

This reinvestment is central to our identity as a CIC and ensures our work continues to benefit the wider community.
